The NSW Public Sector Community of Aboriginal Workforce Development Professionals (CoAWDP) was established in 2015.

The Community of Aboriginal Workforce Development Professionals provides a forum for Sector consultation on the operationalisation of the NSW Public Sector Aboriginal Employment Strategy 2014-2017. It does this by sharing best practice methods across the sector to improve employment and career development outcomes for Aboriginal people in the NSW public sector and developing members' expertise in Aboriginal workforce development.

The CoAWDP will provide opportunities to connect HR professionals as a forum within a supportive domain where people can meet each other and have the opportunity to discuss Strategy initiatives within Departments/agencies and help solve agency issues.

Membership

Membership is open to all NSW Public Sector employees who are working in any area of Aboriginal employment specialists, HR professionals and other managers where Aboriginal recruitment is relevant to their role.

As a member you will have access to free resources, events, networking and more.

Enquiries can be made by email to awd@comprac.nsw.gov.au
